Our MR-16 48 LED Mini Spot is a rugged solid state device that is highly shock and vibration resistant due to the fact that it doesn't use fragile components such as glass or filaments. Our MR-16 Mini Spot Lamp produces virtually no heat which makes it much safer than Halogen and Incandescent. Replacing Halogen, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will significantly reduce potential safety hazards such as burns and fires.

Our MR-16 Mini Spot has the standard BI- Pin Base. Installation is Fast and Easy. No modification necessary. Simply Pull out the old energy wasting Halogen or Incandescent bulb and Push in the new MR-16 Mini Spot energy efficient long life replacement. The MR-16 Mini Spot Lamps are the perfect retrofit or new installation with an unlimited variety of uses.

Transformer/Power Supply Compatibility

MR16 Low Voltage LED Bulbs are compatible with virtually all Magnetic Transformers/Power Supplies. Conversely: Many Electronic Transformers/Power Supplies (especially older installed versions) may not be compatible. The reason being: Electronic Transformers require a minimum load, which is in most instances is greater than that of the energy efficient LED bulbs.

Because of this: LED 12V MR16 bulbs will not work well with Electronic Transformers. The most common results are Flickering, Strobe Effect and in many cases No Light at all.

The solution is simple. Replace the Electronic Transformer/Power Supply with a Magnetic version.
